Boston Music Institute
BMI Summer Camp
Given the competitive nature of today's world, college admission
committees are desperately seeking candidates with both academic
potential and personal strengths, and playing a musical instrument is
a way to showcase a student’s personal traits. The process of learning
to play an instrument will have a great positive impact on a student’s
college life and future careers, as well as cultivating their personal
qualities, such as persistence, dedication and leadership. At the same
time, as one of the major entrance exams for American colleges, the
SAT is not only an indicator of a student’s possible academic
achievement in college, but is also used by college admission committees
to determine admission qualifications.
BMI seminars help students prepare for college applications and
auditions for major orchestras, such as: New England Conservatory
Orchestra, Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, and Boston Youth
Symphony Orchestra, etc.
The elective SAT and critical reading and writing courses included in
the BMI Summer Camp will help students improve their academic
performance in preparation for college applications. BMI will also
provide students participating in the summer camp with certificates
and letters of recommendation required for college applications.
No matter what path a student chooses in the future, we believe that the
BMI Summer Camp will be a perfect program to help them grow and
advance. We also hope that through this program, our students will have
the opportunity to interact with people from Asia, Europe, and the
Americas.
Details on the BMI Summer Camp will be released on this website later.
